Does VMware Carbon Black Support Endpoints Running the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK)?

Issue

User has a Linux endpoint that has an Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK) installed.

Environment

VMware Carbon Black EDR

VMware Carbon Black Cloud Enterprise EDR (formerly CB ThreatHunter)

Resolution

Endpoints that have the VMware Carbon Black Cloud sensor installed has support for UEK and Red Hat Compatible Kernel (RHCK). Please note support for this kernel type starts with VMware Carbon Black Cloud sensor versions 2.10.1 or later.

At this time, there is no support available for endpoints that have the VMware CB EDR sensor installed.
