Gaps in alert or threat ID sequence numbers

Issue

Alert IDs or threat IDs in Red Canary are showing a gap in the sequence numbers. 

Resolution

Alert IDs and threat IDs are auto-incremented; however, you may notice an ID is skipped or missing. Due to complexities with our internal system and processes, IDs may not always show as sequential, but this does not mean that they are missing. If you are concerned about the possibility of  missing information, please submit a support case and we will have a threat hunter investigate.
