Issue
The organization comparison report shows great data when looking at 90 days. However, when I look at a month basis it is not interesting at all (filter is to look at the previous month and each month it has looked like this).
Do you know why thereād be no variation between us and other orgs when looking at a month but shows great variation when looking at 90 days?
Resolution
Select one of the Trailing date ranges, for example Trailing 30 Days to get a more representative picture of the last 30 days rather than "This Month", especially if it's early in the month.
When comparing risk factors over shorter periods of time, there are fewer threats and other occurrences which contribute to a higher risk factor as compared to longer periods of time which may result in a less dynamic result in the How do we compare to other organizations? report.
Cause
The data for your organization as well as comparison data (the data your organization is being compared with) changes based on the date filter selected. The factors against which the risk scores are calculated can change depending on the date range.
In this case, when selecting the date range of "This Month, there may be very few risk factors for all organizations if it is only the first week of the month, for instance, resulting in an uninteresting result.
