Issue
We would like to distribute the SentinelOne install file to our employees so they can manually install the Sensor on their endpoints. We do not want the employees to have to manually enter the Site Token during installation. Is there a way to include or integrate the Site Token in the install file so our employees do not have to manually enter the token during installation?
Environment
Red Canary + SentinelOne
Resolution
SentinelOne does not provide a way to integrate the Site Token with the SentinelOne installer package. SentinelOne does provide methods to include the Site Token using a command line installation. They also provides a method to generate an MSI Transform file that includes the Site Token for GPO or SCCM deployment, but there is no way to integrate the Site Token with the installer file in order to avoid having to manually input the Site Token during installation.
At this time, the only solution for this type of request is to place the installer package in a central (shared) location that Users have access to, then send the Users and email or message that includes install instructions and the Site Token that needs to be entered.
