Issue
User is experiencing issues when logged into their respective EDR/EPP console.
Environment
VMware Carbon Black Cloud console
VMware Carbon Black EDR console
Resolution
Capture diagnostic logs from a web browser for UI troubleshooting.
- Set up logging.
- Open Google Chrome.
- Either press the F12 key or right-click in Chrome and select Inspect.
- Select Console tab.
- Click the Clear button (circle with diagonal line).
- Generate a HAR file.
- Select Network tab.
- Begin to record network activity (if there is a red circle present at the top of the Developer Tools Window, then it is currently recording).
- Select Preserve Log.
- Click the Clear button.
- Reproduce the issue.
- After the issue has been reproduced, right-click inside of the network activity window and select Save all as har with content.
- If this option is not available, Click the download button to export the HAR file.
- Upload the HAR to Support for analysis: https://go.my.redcanary.co/shared_files/new
